Carolina Botanica is operated by It’s All About Oils, LLC (“we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service apply to carolinabotanica.com and to every order placed through it. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, Return Policy and Disclaimer. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

2. You Must Be 21 or Older
You must be at least 21 years old to use this site, create an account or buy from us. By placing an order you confirm that you are 21 or older. We may verify your age before accepting or shipping an order, an adult signature may be required at delivery, and we will cancel any order where we cannot confirm the buyer is 21 or older.
3. What We Sell
Every product we sell is hemp or is made from hemp. Under federal law (7 U.S.C. § 1639o) and North Carolina law, hemp means the plant Cannabis sativa L. and anything made from it with a delta-9 THC concentration of not more than 0.3 percent on a dry-weight basis. Hemp is not marijuana. Each product we list has a certificate of analysis from an independent laboratory, posted on our Lab Reports page. If you do not see the report you are looking for, email us and we will send it to you.
4. Changes in Hemp Law
Hemp laws are changing. Congress has amended the federal definition of hemp so that, once the change takes effect (currently scheduled for December 11, 2026), finished hemp products will be measured by total THC, including THCA, and limited to 0.4 milligrams of total THC per container. The North Carolina General Assembly is also considering new hemp legislation. We will stop selling any product that no longer meets the law, and we may cancel an unshipped order for such a product and refund you in full.
5. Your Responsibility for Local Law
Hemp laws differ from state to state and sometimes from town to town. You are responsible for making sure the products you order are legal where you live and where you have them delivered. We may refuse or cancel any order going to a place where a product is not permitted.
6. Personal Use and Safe Use
Products are sold for personal use by adults 21 and older and not for resale. Keep all products out of reach of children and pets. Do not drive or operate machinery after using a product that contains THC. Do not use our products if you are pregnant or nursing, and talk to your doctor before use if you take medication or have a medical condition. Hemp products can cause a positive drug test.
7. Health Statements
These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice. See our Disclaimer for more.
8. Product Information and Pricing
We work to keep product descriptions, images, potency and prices accurate. Hemp is a natural product, so cannabinoid content can vary slightly from batch to batch; the certificate of analysis shows the tested amounts. If we list a product at the wrong price or with a mistake in its description, we may cancel the order and refund you. Prices are in U.S. dollars, and North Carolina sales tax is added where required.
9. Orders and Payment
Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we ship it. We may refuse, limit or cancel any order, including orders that appear to be placed for resale, orders we cannot verify, and orders to addresses we cannot lawfully ship to. If we cancel an order after you have paid, we refund you in full. Payment is handled by our payment processor, and your card is charged only after the payment is authorized.
10. Shipping and Returns
Shipping is covered in our Shipping Policy. All sales are final except as set out in our Return Policy, which explains how to report an item that arrives damaged or defective.
11. Your Account
If you create an account, keep your login details private. You are responsible for orders placed through your account. Let us know right away if you think someone else has used it.
12. Site Content
The text, photos, logos and designs on this site belong to Carolina Botanica or are used with permission. You may not copy or reuse them for commercial purposes without our written permission.
13. Limits on Our Liability
We sell our products as described on their labels and certificates of analysis. To the fullest extent North Carolina law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or our products, and our total liability for any claim about an order will not exceed the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under law.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina and applicable federal law. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time, including when hemp laws change. The date at the top shows when they were last revised. Orders are governed by the Terms in place when the order was placed.
